When Félix Gauthier acquired a Quebec-based bike company 35 years ago, he couldn’t have foreseen that his Devinci brand would rise to prominence in the global cycling industry. Devinci’s range of bikes, from World Cup-winning mountain bikes and stylish hybrids to urban cruisers and high-powered e-bikes, is now distributed worldwide, proudly labeled as “Made in Canada.”

Renowned for their innovative designs and impeccable craftsmanship, all Devinci’s aluminum bike frames are meticulously hand-welded. Additionally, the company actively participates in a public ride-sharing initiative, boasting over 125,000 bikes in major cities worldwide, including Barcelona, Dubai, Toronto, Montreal, and Rio de Janeiro.

Nevertheless, achieving international success wasn’t an instantaneous feat for the small Chicoutimi, QC-based company. Gauthier recognized the importance of exporting to diversify, expand, and sustain growth while enlarging their customer base.
