In 2025, global business risks from cyber threats, climate change, and AI are key corporate concerns.

A new study reveals that businesses are increasingly focused on a complex risk environment. Cyber threats, which have been the top concern for four consecutive years, is now a significant concern for 38% of companies, climbing from just 12% a decade ago. The report, based on insights from over 3,700 risk experts in 100+ countries, highlights the growing prominence of cyber risks and the broader interconnected nature of global business threats.

According to the 14th annual Allianz Risk Barometer, the number two corporate risk concern has been troubling business leaders for over a decade with 31% of respondents indicating business interruption concerns have not eased. 29% of respondents have flagged natural catastrophes as the third risk of concern while AI is on business leaders’ radar as it broke into the top 10 global risks for the first time.
