Getting kitted out with new school supplies is part of the fun of going back to school but inflation and tariffs have had a significant impact on costs. Many of the products are manufactured in Southeast Asia and China and those regions have faced trade uncertainty with the US in recent months. John Graham, Director of Government Relations with the Retail Council of Canada (RCC) warns these same influences will impact holiday pricing as well.
